There’s something deeply human about the need to feel seen, understood, and supported, especially for individuals living with disabilities or additional needs. That’s the foundation of everything we do at Vitals by Khush, and honestly, it’s the reason I chose this path in the first place.
I didn’t step into healthcare just to follow a career. I chose it because I wanted to stand beside people in their most vulnerable moments and remind them they’re not alone. Over the years, from my early days as a paramedic to now working as a nurse, I’ve learned that real care is never just clinical. It’s not just tasks or routines. It’s how you make someone feel while you’re there. It’s patience, consistency, and the kind of presence that says, "I’ve got you."
When someone invites us into their life for support, it’s personal. And it should always feel that way. Everyone we work with has a unique story, a different way of seeing the world, and their own set of goals and challenges. That’s why we build our services around people, not protocols. We start by listening, observing, and understanding what makes them feel safe, comfortable, and empowered. Then we design support that fits them, not the other way around.

Some days, that might mean helping with daily living tasks or morning routines. Other times, it’s offering emotional support during overwhelming moments, or helping someone gain confidence in social settings, public transport, or navigating appointments. What matters most is that we walk at their pace, on their terms.
This isn’t something I do on my own. I’m lucky to work with a small team of passionate individuals who care just as much as I do. Together, we bring consistency, warmth, and a quiet confidence to the people we support. We show up on time. We remember the little things. We build trust by being real. And over time, we become a steady part of someone’s life, someone they can rely on.
Trust doesn’t happen in a single visit. For many individuals with special needs, especially those who have been let down before, trust has to be earned. That’s something we understand deeply. So we stay. We listen longer. We show up gently, again and again, until our clients start to feel like they’re in charge of their lives, and we’re just there as their backup crew.
What we offer at Vitals by Khush is more than just disability support. We offer a space where people feel respected. Where their voices are heard. Where their choices matter. We offer encouragement, structure, companionship, and yes, a bit of fun too. Because everyone deserves to feel joy, confidence, and belonging, especially those who are often overlooked.
If you or someone you care about is looking for support that feels genuine, personal, and full of heart, we’re here. We don’t promise perfection. We promise presence. And we show up every time with open minds, open hearts, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel empowered in their own life.
Let’s build something good together.
